Miles Value Institute for Virtual Education
The Miles Value Institute delivers virtual (online) training in advanced Value Methodology techniques. Course participants earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) that are recognized by SAVE International. PDU's may also be used for other professional societies including ASQ Quality engineers and managers, PMI Project Managers, AACE Cost Engineers and Estimators, Professional Engineers, and others. Check with your professional societies or entities to confirm PDU acceptance criteria. In addition, the Institute supports our global university outreach providing a new college theory textbook and other University level educational materials.

The Miles Value Foundation (MVF) was created in 1977 to promote and fund the development of educational programs, new applications, and a research library for the study of the Value Methodology (VM). VM includes the applications known as Value Analysis, Value Engineering, and Value Management.
The MVF accomplishes its mission by:
Advancing state-of-the-art applications of Value Methodology through planning, research, and education.
Planning, developing, and implementing strategies for the introduction of the Value Methodology into new areas of business, commerce, and government.
Promoting the education of colleges and university students in the fields of value methodology/value engineering, cost control, and life cycle costing.
Establishing a constituency of individuals concerned with techniques to improve the value of goods and services through research, development, and demonstration of value improvements.
Promoting awareness of the Value Methodology application through MVF supported activities such as: publications, libraries, technology exchange, conferences, and studies.
