Peter was one of the first VE professionals in the Northwest to receive CVS certification (1974) and, received Life status in 1986. He has over 38 years experience in the design and construction industry and over 30 years experience providing value methodology services to government and private clients world wide.
He pioneered the development of VE leading to large contracts with the Corps of Engineers and Federal Highway Administration. Recently, Peter received the AASHTO Award in 2003: National VE Honorable Mention, Most Value Added during Engineering, SR 509/I-5 Corridor Completion.
Peter has worked hard to advance the VE profession and has consistently dedicated his time to promoting SAVE. He served as board member to his local SAVE Chapter from 1993 to 1999 and served as SAVE International's Vice President of Marketing.
